Thumbs Up to Relief
Many people go to a chiropractor because they are in pain. Therefore pain relief or reduction is the first goal of chiropractic care. Due to the hands-on nature of chiropractic care, treatment often requires a course of treatment. This is contrast to medical doctor's treatment which often involves a course of medication that is taken at home for weeks. Our doctors will discuss with you their treatment recommendations as well as the timeline of care.
During this phase the doctors may use an array of treatments to reach pain relief as quickly as possible. This may include: chiropractic adjustments, stretches, exercises, massage therapy, ultrasound or E-STIM therapy. Patients will often also have a home care plan to further help with resolving their current complaints.
This phase or care can may last a few days, or a few weeks depending on the injury or condition that is being treated.
